Summer's Gems
Hello, friends!
It’s been a beautiful week on the farm. We’ve been hard at work preparing for our farm dinner with Wilde Thyme on Saturday, and we’ve got an incredible selection of flowers in bloom right now. It feels good to be a farmer these days. Of course, as we gear up for fall planting, we can’t help but dream of cooler weather. There’s nothing quite like a midsummer bounty, though. We’re up to our ears in tomatoes, dahlias, and lisianthus this week, and the farm is full of color and life! These days, it seems as though all we have time for is harvesting! Our cooler is filled to the brim, and it’s so satisfying to see what emerges from all of the hard work we put in months ago.
This week at the JFX market we will have arugula, cherry tomatoes, head lettuce, heirloom tomatoes, salad mix, shishito peppers, bouquets, and bunches of flowers.
