Gratitude
Good morning friends,
With all that’s going on in the world right now from pandemic, to an explosion in Beirut, to fires in California, a very divided country and the continued inequality for BIPOC in our country it’s been hard to see the good. On the farm even the day-to-day can be defeating at times with extreme heat and things on the farm not always going as we planned or hoped. I’ve been having to remind myself how lucky I am that I get to live here on this farm, in this country, on this earth. I get to wake up every day doing the thing I love. I have a business that is thriving during the pandemic while so many others are suffering. I get to wake up and be greeted by a tiny toad on our porch before the sun rises.
I get to share this farm and my day-to-day life with an amazing crew - the farm crew and babysitting squad. People who work hard and I genuinely enjoy being around.
And you! Our dear customers and friends who make this whole crazy life possible! Thank you for being a part of this journey with us, near and far. I hope you take a moment today to think about all the great things in your life. Life is heavy right now. Let’s remember the good and be grateful so we can move forward to better days.
We will be at the market at Johnny’s this weekend. We are grateful for you ongoing support and look forward to seeing you there. The market is Sunday from 8:00-11:00 am.
