Two Boots Farm

A family run farm and floral design studio in Hampstead, Maryland. We grow a wide variety of cut flowers and produce. We also have over 100 cultivated pawpaw fruit trees. We use ecologically sustainable practices so that future generations can continue to grow in healthy soil.

Season Finale

Greetings!

With field work under wraps for the season and the last weekend of market upon us, things have been pretty quiet on the farm this week. Aside from cranking out yet another batch of wreaths for this weekend’s market, we managed to submit our seed orders and finished dividing the dahlia tubers, which means we’ll soon be able to put the 2020 season behind us and focus on the year to come. We’re exhausted after this year’s wild ride and looking forward to a quiet, restful winter at home.

We’re enormously thankful for all of the support we received this year. We somehow managed to pull off the massive changes required by COVID, and we couldn’t have done it without the help of our friends, neighbors, and customers. During a time of immense stress, uncertainty, and fear, we’ve felt so lucky to be surrounded by such a kind, thoughtful, and supportive community. It’s been a joy to share our food and flowers with you this year, and we hope that they brought joy and nourishment to you and yours.

Early mornings on the farm bring the opportunity to watch the sunrise. We were treated to this stunner on Wednesday.

The goats are still here and continue to bring us lots of entertainment.
