Two Boots Farm

A family run farm and floral design studio in Hampstead, Maryland. We grow a wide variety of cut flowers and produce. We also have over 100 cultivated pawpaw fruit trees. We use ecologically sustainable practices so that future generations can continue to grow in healthy soil.

Cooling down

Hello, friends,

Things have certainly cooled off, but we’re still busy as can be. Our crew is doing their best to get beds ready for overwintered flowers, but really, we’re still spending hours each day harvesting, with little time for anything else! The global flower shortage has resulted in an unbelievable rush on business for us small flower farmers. Though we appreciate the business immensely, it’s been hard to keep up! Fortunately, with the pawpaw harvest winding down, we should be able to get more plants in the ground and ensure a good start to the 2022 growing season.

We’ve got a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks! Autumn is full of transformative change on the farm, and it brings with it hope for rest and time spent with relaxing with family and friends.
Each day we come a little bit closer to putting the farm to bed for the season. In the meantime, we’re still harvesting new crops, witnessing different birds and insects visit the farm, and watching the farm change daily. We are immensely thankful for the incredible harvests this land has provided to us, this year and every year.

High tunnel mums, coming soon.

Sunday, October 3rd, 8:00 am - 11:00 am: Johnny’s

We’ll be back at our regular market this weekend with lots of good stuff to share.

This week we’ll have arugula, basil, carrots, figs, ginger, hakurei turnips, spring mix, shishito peppers, and pawpaws! Our produce offerings for the year are beginning to dwindle, but we’ll do our best to bring a good selection to market weekly.

We’ll have loads of bouquets, in addition to bunches of celosia, dahlias, and eucalyptus.

Wishing you well,

Amelia and the rest of the Two Boots Farm crew
